Salcombe Sweet Shop

Cranch’s sweet shop has to be the ultimate. In this small shop which has been going since 1869, their walls are full to the ceiling with jars of sweets, boxes of penny sweets and chunks of fudge. This is total heaven for most children and for the adults, it brings back many happy childhood memories.

Their pink and white striped bags are instantly recognisable (and spill out of most children’s pockets!) Our favourite sweets strawberry and lemon bonbons – perfection! New on the scene is Roly’s Fudge Pantry which does what it says on the tin! You can see them making the fudge on site and the smell is heavenly! Their most popular flavour is sea salt, with 20p of every purchase donated to the RNLI.
