Founder & Owner

Kate created Finest Stays, then Salcombe Finest, in 2013. Her connection with South Devon is both personal and professional, and she possesses endless knowledge on all aspects of holidaying in the South Hams. Kate handpicks the holiday homes for our portfolio and crucially, it is Kate’s passion for South Devon and it’s beauty and charm, that makes Kate’s personal level of service held in such high regard amongst our property owners and guests alike.

Sophia

Head of Creative

Sophia spearheads impactful marketing and PR initiatives at Finest Stays, and finds all the right avenues to ensure the world hears all about our brand. With un-compromising due diligence and a deep love for luxury homes and interiors, Sophia is dedicated to expanding and developing the Finest Stays brand and nurturing the business to help Finest Stays flourish and prosper. Hattie is a true advocate of providing a exemplary service for our guests so that they want to return to holiday in South Devon again and again and again. Here at Finest Stays, Hattie is responsible for quality control and ensures that any problems are resolved efficiently and effectively whilst maintaining great relationships with our fantastic property owners, our lovely guests and our trusty suppliers.

Holiday Consultant

Vicky liaises with our fantastic guests and our wonderful property owners, handling bookings, queries and property enquiries and ensuring guests have a memorable stay. Available to assist with the selection of the perfect property for your next Finest Stays holiday, Vicky is available to answer any queries however big or small and go the extra mile to ensure all of our guests receive unparalleled customer service

Bookkeeper

Accounts, accounts, sailing, accounts! Josie has been working for Finest Stays since 2019 and is in charge of keeping financial track of the company. From payments coming in, to business expenses going out – Josie is a real stickler for detail!

With masses of local knowledge and truly meticulous about the the details, Jane always fosters a partnership with our property owners, ensuring their continued support. There is an endless list of compelling reasons for visitors to book one of our luxury holiday homes in South Devon, and Sue works on all the location information on our website so that as many people as possible hear about our wonderful area. Sue is passionate about South Devon and loves spending time on the beach, coastal walks and enjoys the excellent seafood which is served up locally.

Finest Stays we’re simply amazing. We had a weekend planned for my wife’s 50th birthday with 15 guests coming. The dreaded email came from another company we had booked through that our house had been pulled by the owner. I called Salcombe Finest at 4pm the evening this happened and they both bent over backwards to sort us out. The guest care team found us alternative accommodation and were so helpful despite it being way after office hours. So grateful to them both and will use them for all our future Salcombe trips. All extremely kind and genuine people.
