Things to do in Strete

Strete Gate Beach stretches out beautifully along the coastline and is the ideal spot for a picnic or sunset soiree with family and friends. Strete is an especially convenient place to stay if you are wanting to explore some of the other wonderful towns and villages South Devon has to offer. Just a short journey north and you will find the delightful riverside towns of Dartmouth and Kingswear, home to the Dartmouth Steam Railway, the Dart Valley Trail, and an abundance of great places to eat and drink. To the south is the iconic seaside town of Salcombe, another must-visit if you are in the area!
