With pretty views towards the estuary and the heart of Salcombe just a leisurely stroll away, it’s an enviable base for a South Devon escape with family or friends.
At the heart of the home is the light-filled, open-plan living space, where generous, sink-into sofas invite slow mornings and relaxed evenings after a day on the coast. Throw open the doors to the balcony and step outside with your first coffee of the day, taking in the fresh sea air and glimpses of life on the water below.
The kitchen and dining area flow naturally from the lounge, creating a sociable space where everyone can gather. Think unhurried breakfasts before heading to the beach, long lunches around the table and easy suppers with a bottle of something chilled after a day exploring the South Hams.
Three light and welcoming bedrooms offer plenty of space to retreat at the end of the day, complemented by two bathrooms, ideal when sharing the house with friends or family.
And when you’re ready to venture out, Salcombe is wonderfully close. Wander into town for morning coffee, browse the independent shops or settle in for lunch overlooking the water. For those craving a little more adventure, beautiful beaches and the South West Coast Path are within easy reach, opening up miles of glorious South Hams coastline to explore.

Parking Information
There are two long stay car parks in Salcombe that you can park in and pay daily via the Ringo App for any additional parking. Creek Car Park is in operation 1st April - 30th September; use Shadycombe Car Park outside these dates.
For any additional parking, there is free parking along Devon Road - spaces are not guaranteed but usually you can find something given a little patience! If you head along Devon Road (going towards North Sands rather than the end closer to town), there are some spaces under the trees which are not time restricted.

Harbour View Location
Salcombe is one of those rare places that captures you from the moment you arrive. Set along a beautiful estuary, with sweeping views across the harbour to golden beaches and open sea, it offers a timeless coastal charm that feels both relaxed and quietly sophisticated.
Life here centres around the water. Sailing boats drift across the estuary, paddleboards trace the shoreline and ferries slip back and forth to the sandy shores of East Portlemouth. Whether you’re drawn to time on the water or simply enjoy watching it from the harbour’s edge, there’s a gentle rhythm to days spent here.
In the heart of the town, Fore Street winds its way past independent boutiques, waterside cafés and much-loved local spots. Morning coffee turns into leisurely lunches, and afternoons are often rounded off with something sweet, perhaps ice cream from Salcombe Dairy or a visit to the traditional sweet shop that has delighted generations.
Just beyond the centre, coastal paths lead to hidden coves and wide sandy beaches, while North Sands and South Sands offer easy days by the sea. Here, long lunches roll into evenings, with the sound of the tide never far away. For those who enjoy walking, the South West Coast Path provides breathtaking views at every turn, while nearby gardens at Overbeck’s offer a quieter moment, rich with colour and far-reaching coastal vistas.
Out of season, Salcombe takes on a softer pace. The crowds drift away, leaving behind a peaceful waterside town where the beauty of the landscape feels even more pronounced. It’s this balance, vibrant in summer, calm and restorative beyond that makes Salcombe such a special place to return to, time and again.
