Brewery Cottage Overview

Brewery Cottage is a superbly located and generously proportioned holiday home, ideal for multigenerational families or groups of friends looking to enjoy everything Salcombe has to offer, all just a few steps from the water, shops and restaurants.

Set behind Fore Street and accessed via a private cobbled courtyard, this impressive four-storey cottage is one of the original brewery cottages, thoughtfully redesigned and finished to a high standard throughout.

On the ground floor, you are welcomed into an entrance hallway, alongside a comfortable double bedroom and a convenient cloakroom.

The first floor offers a large and flexible bedroom with three single beds and access to a balcony. Additional truckle beds can be arranged here if required, making it a great option for children or larger groups. A family bathroom is located just across the landing.

On the second floor, you’ll find a spacious king-size bedroom, a further family bathroom and a separate laundry area, adding practicality for longer stays.

The third floor is the true heart of the home. A bright and expansive open-plan kitchen, dining and living space sits beneath a high vaulted ceiling with roof lights, creating a wonderful sense of space and light. The well-equipped kitchen features quartz worktops, a Miele oven, six-burner gas hob, multiple fridges and freezers, and everything needed for cooking and entertaining. The large oak dining table comfortably seats up to 10 guests, perfectly positioned between the kitchen and living area for sociable meals.

The sitting area offers plenty of comfortable seating, along with a TV and entertainment system, and opens onto a Juliet balcony with views across the rooftops towards the estuary.

From this level, doors lead out to three terraces, each offering a different space to relax or entertain. The lower terrace, accessed from the kitchen, features a decked area with bench seating and a large gas BBQ. The middle terrace provides a generous outdoor dining space, ideal for long, relaxed meals. The upper terrace is a more private retreat, complete with outdoor sofa seating, an outdoor shower and beautiful estuary views.

Also located on the upper terrace is a separate garden studio, offering a double bedroom with its own en suite shower room, perfect for guests seeking additional privacy.

With its rare combination of central location, generous living space and multiple outdoor areas, Brewery Cottage is an ideal base for enjoying Salcombe with friends and family.

Location is ideal. We have stayed in Salcombe for 12 summers and this is has been by far our favourite spot. The outdoor areas are very nice and well equipped with great views. The cottage itself was very well equipped and had a lovely modern kitchen, it also also had beautiful artwork throughout the house which was much admired
