Apartment 8, Forest Cove Overview

External steps lead to Forest Cove. Inside, the bright and airy hallway is welcoming and spacious. Accommodation flows seamlessly from the bedroom, along the hallway to the open plan living space offering privacy in a prime location. The bedroom has views over the rooftops of Hope Cove and the rolling Devon countryside. Furnished with a cool rustic vibe with a king size bed and double built in wardrobes with plenty of hanging space. Heading further down the hallway to the bathroom; a fusion of modern vintage; the bath has a contemporary black paned screen and large brass rain shower head and the statement encaustic style tiled floor completes the look.

The hallway opens up into a bright open plan living space with a smart kitchen area, well equipped with high spec appliances by Neff, Nespresso coffee machine and DeLonghi kettle and toaster. Contemporary furnishings include a dining table and chairs and a smart grey sofa which can also be set-up as a sofa bed for an additional guest. The expansive floor to ceiling windows open up onto the private balcony for the most stunning coastal views. Imagine waking up in the morning and sipping coffee to the sounds of the crashing waves.

No smoking inside the apartment.

We have had a fantastic stay and booked an extra night as we loved it so much. We are normally Cornwall visitors and have been going there for years. We have never been to this area of Devon and loved it. It seems like a hidden gem. The Apartment is lovely. We have nothing to say that isn't good. Lastly your team are amazing and so helpful and quick to respond they really deserve a pat on the back.

A lovely stay. It’s in an ideal location, so close to the beaches in Hope Cove and a short distance from places like Salcombe. The apartment was spotless and lovely inside, exactly as the pictures show. I would certainly stay again.

I had an absolutely lovely few days away at Hope Cove with my dog Tilly , the apartment is in a perfect spot right on the coastal path with beautiful views of the sea and village which is literally a 5 minute walk down a hill. Gorgeous , clean apartment and a lovely touch leaving a little welcome gift of savory snacks , sweet ones and nespresso pods which I loved ! Harry was really helpful from Finest Stays and checked I arrived safely etc so all in all I couldn’t fault it at all and would stay again for sure . Thank you

We had a lovely time in Hope cove the weather was good and Forest cove was as comfy as ever,we loved waking up to the sea views and watching the gorgeous sunsets over the cove,as always spotlessly clean,love the big soft towels,we will be down again next year, thank you Kate and team.

We had a wonderful stay in Apartment 8 Forest Cove in The Lanterns. It started well with being dealt with by Vicky who read our accommodation requests perfectly even though it was a very late booking. The apartment was just what we needed. Lovely views with balcony. It was very well equipped. We will return a great find. 5 stars all round.

The apartment is like a home from home and has absolutely everything you could need. Lovely quiet location, lots of places to explore within 30 mins or so, luxury touches including a lovely welcome bag of goodies and sunset views to die for. From the moment I arrived I knew I would be returning and I have already booked again for next year!

The apartment is beautiful, with a very high spec finish, scrupulously clean and with every mod con. Perfect for a couple, there is a sofa bed for a third person but the room is very bright with only a voile curtain. Dining furniture on the balcony was great for eating al fresco when watching the sun go down. Steep path down to the cove with a couple of decent bars and restaurants, a shop and a gallery - a five minute walk. Really loved our stay at The Lanterns, we'd go again.
