Apartment 6, Castle Cove Overview
Castle Cove at The Lanterns is a laid back escape for alfresco summer living or a cosy bolt-hole to hunker down in when the winds blow. Designed to reflect the stunning coastal environment combined with smart contemporary interiors, this luxury dog friendly holiday home offers the perfect seaside escape for families and friends.
Hope Cove is a little gem; build sandcastles on the beach with the kids, brace yourself and feel invigorated with a spot of wild swimming, paddle your way to a nearby hidden cove and simply chill. Combine that with some of the best seafood shacks, pubs and restaurants all just a just a short walk away.
With the emphasis on relaxed coastal style living, this sought after apartment sleeps up to 5 guests, with two bedrooms. Step inside and on your left you’ll find the master bedroom with kingsize bed and lovely views over the village rooftops and rolling Devon hills. The family bathroom is beautifully designed, comprising high end fittings; the bath has a beautiful brass shower head and contemporary Crittal style black paned screen and a Vogue brass heated towel rail. Children will love the second bedroom, a single ‘cabin’, complete with a porthole in the door. This charming bedroom is a cosy captain’s den.
At the end of the hallway the apartment opens up into a social hub; a bright open plan living space, perfect for chatting over dinner and generally relaxing and having fun. The contemporary L-shaped kitchen area is well fitted out with Neff appliances, Nespresso coffee machine and DeLonghi kettle and toaster. You’ll find everything you could possibly need to cook up your favourite dishes and the large breakfast bar is perfect for chatting over a glass of wine. The living area is beautifully furnished with a dining table and two large sofa beds for relaxing. The wide floor to ceiling glass doors really bring a real sense of space to the apartment for easy transition to outdoor living. The perfect place for lazy mornings with a coffee over breakfast.
