Wolf Rock Overview

Wolf Rock enjoys an enviable position, perched gracefully above the water with sweeping views across the Salcombe estuary. From here, the scene unfolds in every direction, across to the soft, sandy shores of East Portlemouth, out towards the open sea, and along the ever-changing tidal estuary as it winds its way inland. It is a setting that feels both peaceful and quietly captivating.

Set on the historic site of the former Sunny Cliff Hotel, the apartment sits right on the water’s edge, offering a true sense of coastal living at its finest.

Inside, the principal bedroom is a calming retreat, complete with a super king bed and a beautifully appointed en suite, where even a morning shower comes with uninterrupted views across the harbour. The second bedroom is equally inviting, with a king size bed, its own en suite bathroom, and those same calming estuary vistas.

The heart of the home is the light-filled open-plan living space, which opens effortlessly onto a sun-drenched terrace, the perfect place to pause, unwind, lounge on the sunbeds and take in the ever-changing colours of the water. Enjoy your morning coffee and fresh croissants from this beautiful spot or prepare seafood suppers while watching the boats pass by in the evening light.

Below, the landscaped gardens lead gently down towards the water’s edge and slipway, inviting quiet exploration and moments by the shore (please note there are a number of steep steps, and children should be supervised).

Just a short stroll from the centre of Salcombe, Wolf Rock offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility, close enough to enjoy the vibrant charm of the town, yet tucked away in a truly special waterside setting.
