The Lofthouse Overview
Set right on the water's edge of the Salcombe Estuary, The Lofthouse is the perfect home stay for families, a group of friends or couples after lots of space. Its location, just seconds from the bustling streets, is just perfect; tucked-away enough that when you shut the door it feels like you're in your own private hideaway, hidden from the world. It also benefits from a mooring by prior arrangement, so if you're keen on exploring by boat or kayak, this is a top spot for you.
The airy, sunny sitting room has large sliding doors open out on to the waterside terrace that overlooks boats bobbing on the water and the perfect spot to put your feet up with an Aperol spritz in hand! Perfect for hot sunny days, doors can be opened up to let the summer's air float through and to bring the outside in - bliss!
The Lofthouse has a fantastic kitchen kitted out with absolutely everything you could possibly need (including the all important Nespresso machine) a dining area and seating area, functional cloakroom and utility area - perfect for wetsuits and bodyboards.
There are three large beautiful bedrooms to chose from. The spectacular master bedroom (with en suite bathroom) has the most epic panoramic sea views over the entire estuary. You could happily sit in bed with a freshly-made cup of tea in hand, and watch the yachts sail out to sea whilst the water twinkles in the sunshine. At night with the windows open, you can lie in bed and listen to the waves lapping on Bakerswell beach below – utter bliss.
The second bedroom is a gorgeous light and airy double room, with crisp and cool cotton sheets. The third bedroom is a gloriously comfortable twin room with en suite shower room and is perfect for both adults and children. All of the bathrooms have The White Company toiletries.

The Lofthouse has one parking space. There is a travel cot and high chair available, we just ask that you bring your own sheets for the travel cot.
Two small dogs welcome at The Lofthouse but please note they are not go go upstairs, on furniture or in bedrooms.
There is the possibility for a mooring during your stay for an additional cost with prior arrangement with the hotel
