Ferry Watch Overview
Oh what a glorious position – right in the heart of Salcombe but with a peaceful outside area for al fresco dining on balmy days, or relaxing in the sunshine with a good book. With views across the Salcombe estuary from each floor, Ferry Watch is aptly named as you sit and watch the ferry busily to and fro.
A beautifully styled duplex apartment situated over two floors, this is a fab holiday home for families or groups of friends. And getting to the golden sandy beaches on the other side couldn’t be easier – simply cross the road and hop onto the ferry. Or if you need to quench your thirst, the waterfront Ferry Inn is right on your doorstep.
Walking up the steps to the house from street level, you will see the terraces a the back of Ferry Watch where there is an outdoor dining area, comfortable seating corner and a hanging egg seat (don’t all fight at once). A charcoal BBQ is on hand for sizzling sausages after a day on the beach.
Entering the house into the hallway, turn right into the open plan kitchen and dining area. There is a very useful utility area off the well-equipped kitchen with downstairs loo and laundry facilities.
Up two steps from the dining area is a beautiful sitting room with heavenly sofas to crash out on. On this level is also a king size bedroom with en suite shower room.
From the hallway and up the staircase is the rest of the sleeping accommodation. A well-sized twin room is first on your left, followed by a king size bedroom; both have wonderful estuary views. At the furthest end is a bedroom with three single beds; a sure fire hit with children.
1 x well behaved pooch is very welcome at an additional charge
Allergies: please note that dogs have been in Ferry Watch.
Please note: Smoking is not allowed inside of the property
Please note: The decking is accessed via 15 steps and there are further steps on the decking.
Please note: There are sloping ceilings throughout the second floor
