Mornings are best started slowly, with a short stroll into town for warm croissants from the local bakery, followed by a wander through Salcombe’s independent shops in search of provisions and small indulgences. From there, the day unfolds at your pace, launch a paddleboard or kayak with the family, row out from the mooring below, or step aboard and cross the water to the sandy beaches opposite.

The top floor of the house opens into a light-filled entertaining space where wide windows frame the ever-changing creek beyond. The kitchen is designed for gathering and entertaining; easy, sociable and perfectly placed for long suppers that drift late into the evening, fuelled by the day’s catch of the best local seafood the town has to offer.

From here, the open water is moments away, whether you’re setting off for a day on the beach or heading upriver towards South Pool, where barbecues at sunset and the glow of evening light on the water become part of the everyday.

Dogs: Please note that 3 Cookes Quay does not allow dogs so is perfect for those with no pets - for guests with allergies we cannot guarantee that pets have not been at the property

WiFi - There is Wifi throughout the property so if you need to stay in touch with the outside world you can!
