Local freshly prepared food and drinks. Alf Resco’s pastries and bread are all baked in Dartmouth and the orange juice is freshly squeezed. Even the coffee (their own home blend) is locally ground and roasted and it’s delicious! They don’t take bookings so expect to queue up outside the rustic courtyard… it’s well worth the wait!

Smith Street Deli

This delightful cafe has the largest deli selection in Dartmouth with local cheeses, chutneys and  cured meats so the place to head if you’re planning a picnic. Dartmouth Castle Tea Rooms

The perfect combo – a walk followed by a cream tea, and what better location than the one mile stretch from Dartmouth to the Dartmouth Castle Tea Rooms.  This charming cafe is perched at the entrance to the iconic Dart estuary and a great place to refuel and enjoy a sharing platter or a seafood salad before heading off along the coast path or back into town.

Old Market Café
