Parking Information
There are several long stay car parks close by to the apartment within a 2 - 4 minute walk away where you can pay daily via an app. Old Market is a 2 minute walk away and to get here from the apartment head towards the high street, then turn left onto Cistern Street and the destination will be on your left.
Alternatively, you can park in the Heath Nursery Car Park which is a 4 minute walk away. From the apartment, head towards High Street and then run left onto Cistern Street. Then turn left onto The Lamb and you will find the car park.

Holiday in Totnes and you’ll experience a vibrant market town with a beating heart, friendly locals and a rich tapestry of independent and eclectic shops, cafes and restaurants. Historic Totnes has a main line railway station, excellent walking trails and the sublime south Devon beaches all within easy reach. What’s not to love!Historical Totnes is the perfect base for a holiday. The station is just a 10-15 minute walk from this vibrant town for visiting Exeter and Plymouth. Throw into the mix the nearby beaches, footpaths, river trips and the regular markets on Friday and Saturday mornings selling everything from street food to magic carpets! The result, a truly unique town in a beautiful location.
Totnes is a culinary hive of activity when it comes to dining experiences. From the chilled out Mediterranean style vegan and vegetarian cafes, bars and bistros to traditional tea rooms with their multi layer cakes and scones. Add in the excellent pubs and restaurants in Totnes who pride themselves on using locally sourced produce and you’re spoilt for choice. But wherever you decide to pick up your knife and fork during your Totnes holidays you’ll find a vibrant, warm welcome.
There are some wonderful places to visit and plenty of things to see on your Totnes holiday. Wander under the ancient East Gate Arch which was once the gateway to the Medieval town. (Reconstructed to its former glory following a devastating fire in 1990’s.) Visit the town’s motte-and-bailey castle and the market square with its regular craft and food markets every Friday and Saturday morning. Shopping in Totnes is a dream. The narrow streets are lined with eclectic independent shops. Check out the sustainable department store for artisan crafts, homeware and locally made clothes. There’s even a cafe instore so stop for an Italian coffee and pastry.
