Each morning, the sun rises over the water, casting a golden glow across the landscape. You start your day with a leisurely breakfast on the terrace, savouring fresh pastries and fruit as you watch the swimmers in the bay.

The beach, just a stone’s throw away, beckons. You spend your days exploring the sandy shores, collecting seashells, and letting the cool waves wash over your feet. The South West Coast Path offers scenic hikes, with each bend revealing more of the coastline’s rugged beauty. Sometimes, you simply sit and watch the scene.

For a touch of adventure, you rent a kayak or paddleboard and paddle through the tranquil waters of the Salcombe Estuary. The sense of freedom and connection to nature is exhilarating, and you can’t help but feel a profound sense of peace.

As the day draws to a close, you retreat to your suite. The setting sun paints the sky in hues of pink and orange, creating a stunning display that you can watch from your terrace. Prepare a simple yet delicious supper with fresh, local ingredients, paired with a bottle of chilled white wine or sample the culinary delights on offer in the pretty town.

South Sands is a pretty beach with a lovely friendly beach cafe and a stylish hotel offering a myriad of food choices to suit all tastes. It's perfect for soaking up some summer sun, making fun with family, eating a crab sandwich or watching the famous little ferry come and go. Try your hand at paddle boarding or sea kayaking, all available only a few steps away. Or indulge in some beach yoga during summer months for that early morning stretch out.

This perfect suite is all on one level, with a spacious lounge, dining area for six and a well appointed kitchen to prepare those family suppers with all the local ingredients on offer in this famous town, after a fun filled day enjoying the Salcombe vibe. A sofa bed for those additional guests can be made up in this area on request.

The spacious master bedroom is a super king that can be divided into a twin on request with its own en suite bath, shower, basin and WC with opening patio doors to the wraparound balcony, stargazing from here is a must. The second bright and airy coastal inspired large bedroom has a king size bed and patio doors opening on to the balcony for that fresh Salcombe breeze. For ultimate privacy this room has its own en suite shower, basin and WC.

When it’s finally time to leave, you do so with a heavy heart but a mind full of beautiful memories. Spinnaker has not just provided a place to escape, it has given you an experience of tranquillity, beauty, and joy that will remain with you long after you’ve returned home.


Please note that Spinnaker welcomes your dog - however there are restrictions of no dogs on the beach during May-September. No need to worry there are beautiful coastal walks and North Sands Beach on your doorstep to please those furry friends.
