Plans are afoot for a new 24-hour gambling centre to open on Fore Street in Salcombe. Planning permission was granted on the proviso that gamers do not make excessive celebrations when hitting the jackpot.

Just kidding…April Fools!

Thankfully we can leave the bright lights of slot machines and casinos to other towns. Salcombe displays most of its colour in the turquoise waters and pretty pastel coloured cottages that line the streets.
